I have internet download manager 6.10 and every time i try to download it downloads the shortcut and not the program. How can i get it to download the program? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

1. right click the link you want to download.

2. here select "copy link Location"

3. now open Internet download manager main window.
4. here click on "add URL" box

5. it will automatically add your copied link location, just click OK in this window.

5. a new window will come up. here click on "Start Download" and its OK, your download should start now.

Hope you are doing steps as mentioned above. if still not success then those links were not working really. just report those links for removal.

Thank You Bodmas... i was using iexplorer and it didnt give me the "Copy link location"...i had the "Copy Shortcut". I did and then followed your steps and it worked perfectly...2 gigs under 20 minutes download...AWESOME...THANKS
