do i need all six parts to play it?
Yes. The iso is contained within a multipart rar archive. So you will need all 6 parts. Then once you unpack them, you will get 1 iso file.
I burned this onto a DVD-R after extracting all 6 parts but it didn't work when I tried running it in my ps2. What am I doing wrong?
This isn't meant to be run on a PS2. It's meant to use a PS2 emulator to run it
Oh I see. In that case I still don't know how to run it. I tried it with PSX2 emulator but couldn't get it to work.
I just got the emulator on my computer to run my FFX disk, i am going to download and test KH2. I'll let you know if it works and how to do it.
Ok, here is how to play the .iso files on the emulator. This is for PCSX2;
1. first, mount the .iso file using daemon tools.
2. open the PCSX2 emulator, and select the configuration tab. Select CDVDrom under config, and select the drive that the .iso is mounted too (the daemon drive)
3. select run cd/dvd under file, and you are good to go.
This is not necessarily true. While this .iso will not run on an unmodded ps2, it will run on a ps2 that has a softmod (like freemcboot) or a modchip. However with free mcboot and ESR one can simply burn this .iso to a disk and play it off a ps2. (I am doing this right now)
There are 2 ways in which you can play this on your ps2.
1. Have the hardware of your ps2 modded (probably not the ideal solution)
2. Softmod your ps2. A guide for how to do this is available bellow:

You can use Roxio to burn the iso to a DVD "Roxio / copy / > Burn Image <", and use PCSX2 to run the DVD.
I know it works I just did it, and thanks every one for the other ideas I'll have to try them as well.
Does any one have a copy of Kingdom Hearts I ?
