install notes:
1. Unpack the release.
2. install setup
3. Run keygen. (Under Vista do it with administrator rights!)
4. Select the product that you would like to register (Sony Sound Forge Pro 10 Series)
Make sure that you are not running any Sony apps!
5.Press Patch button, and select the application's directory.
(for example C:\Program Files\Sony\Sony Sound Forge Pro 10)
6. OK (Then select the Shared Plugins folder if needed only)
7. Now you can run the app(Forge 100) that you are going to register.
8.Press Generate button on keygen for Serial Number and Authentication
Code. (These codes are work in pair!)
9.enter serial number then select activation from Another Computer
10. fill out form with your desired info
11. enter activation/authentication code

Am having problem with the patch.... After applying the patch which it says was successful.... When opening the Application its asking for the key starting with 164-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.....
Can you give the steps for applying patch properly....
P.S. I did the patching without net access.
try to reinstall then copy patch to where you installed the application then apply patch
Uninstalled and cleaned the registry with CCleaner and Reinstalled, copied the patch to the installed folder and applied patch but to no effect.....

Dear Yeng, thx 4 the up, but... patch yields error while applying. I've followed the instructions for patch, serial and authentication code to the letter, re-installing several times after ccleaned and machine reinitiated, still failing. I operate with win 7 RC 7100, may be that's the problem? I've tried all i know, can you help, pls?

i edited the post for the step by step instructions. just follow them carefully and you'll have no problem registering.. i have successfully registered with my own name.. hope it works for you too.. enjoy..

I DID EVERY THING RIGHT BUT I KEEP GETTING THIS> the authentication code is not correct, please check that it has been entered correctly sound forge 10.0 has not been registered
you must be missing something in there.. make sure you don't run the app when doing the patch.. or did you choose the correct application in the keygen? make sure you select Sony Sound Forge Pro 10 Series
i have both the keygen only folder and the sound forge that has a keygen.
I Got It. Finally. Did The Steps over Again. Ehhhh Not What I Expected But Its Nice

You say to place the patch in the directory where the program is installed, and then use the keygen to apply the patch. Is the patch apart of the download or am I only suppose to use the keygen? I continue to get the Error message after trying to use the patch via the keygen. I too have installed and uninstalled several times to no end..while using ccleaner between each..continuing to try, but am confused and in need of some help. I would appreciate any assistance. You need to use the keygen as an administrator. So it can be patched.
It's okay if you're connected to the internet but choose the connect to the another computer or something like that. Then *poof* it's okay.
