Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure stealth video game based on DC Comics' Batman for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics and was released on August 25, 2009 in North America and August 28, 2009 in Europe.
Batman: Arkham Asylum, written by Paul Dini, is based on the long-running comic book mythos, as opposed to most other Batman games which are adaptations of the character in other media besides the source material. The Joker, Batman's archfoe, has instigated an elaborate plot from within Arkham Asylum where many of Batman's other villains have been incarcerated. Batman investigates and comes to learn that the Joker is trying to create an army of Bane-like creatures that threaten Gotham City, and is forced to put a stop to the Joker's plans. Much of the game's characters are voiced by actors from the DC Animated Universe, in particular Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, and Arleen Sorkin reprise their roles as Batman, the Joker, and Harley Quinn, respectively. The game is played as a third-person perspective action-adventure game with a primary focus on Batman's physical combat abilities, his "Predator" stealth skills to take out opponents quietly, his detective skills, and his arsenal of gadgets that can be used in both combat and exploration.

4. Run the launcher and ENJOY!

UPDATE: Added more links, plus updated the password, it's the same as before only with no http:// at the beginning.
ALSO: Some people are complaining about PhysX errors, or PhysX not working. Supposedly if you take the bmlauncher.exe from the official DEMO of Batman: Arkham Asylum and replace the one in the leaked, it fixes it. This is not confirmed by me, so backup the original. If it does not fix the problem if you have one, simply disable PhysX, it doesn't make much difference in the graphics quality.

I seem to have a problem. I downloaded the 9-part file series from MegaUpload, and upon extraction, it won't work with volume 8. It says it's corrupt, and volume 9 won't work either as it says the CRC failed. So I'm stuck without the Data.004 file
There are two ways to fix corrupted RAR files. Try any one or combine both of them if needed!
WAY 1: Use The standard RAR repair function by opening the rar file & clicking on 'Repair'
WAY 2: Right click on a RAR file & select Extract Files. Then tick on 'Keep Broken Files'
I tried both, and it still says volume 8 is corrupt, and for volume 9, "! C:\Users\Bobby\Downloads\Batman.READNFO.TL.UV.By.JRaMoNeS.part09.rar: CRC failed in the encrypted file Batman.Arkham.Asylum.READNFO.Direct2Drive-TL\BatmanArkhamAsylum.Data.004 (wrong password ?)" And I'm using the password at the end of the topic.
But this time I got all files, so ran the setup, and at the end, I got 7-Zip diagnostic messages saying that the CRC failed in data5.cab, that the file is broken. Then it removes all extracted files from the hard drive.
Does this even work for anybody? The game shouldn't even be out yet.
I can confirm this for sure works. I got the files a few days ago. Installed it by following directions. No problems. Xp Service pack 3

It's working, but the 2 Scarecrow dream is impossible to complete. After an hallucinatelevator falls down with Bats on it, there should be a blue grappling circle hovering up on a ledge, but it isn't there and it's not possible to finish this part of the game. That sucks big time!
I humbly ask you guys to wait till the game officially releases!
Ok , so why this upload then
I've somehow passed the Scarecrow dream part, no problems there. But then there is this area in the Botanical Gardens when you're chasing the Joker, you come upon this tiny room with 2 ledges, and a broken ventilation shaft. After climbing the two ledges, you can see that you have to climb into the top ventilation shaft by using a grapple, but a grapple point is gone. This pretty much prevents the game from advancing any further, which is a shame.
Unless theres a noclip cheat. I doubt it though.
There are a lot of problems I have read about with this leaked version. Some people are able to get through the game, some aren't. Use at your own discretion. I personally am waiting for an "official" release of the game as I got stuck myself. I shared this release because I know some people will complete it.
EDIT: Found a "possible" grapple fix, though this is not tested by me, the person who shared this claimed to have no grapple issues. Use at your own discretion. Also updated the crack link above.

I still remember what happened with LEAKED Assassin's Creed version that's why I ask members to keep away from these. Just wait a few more time for the game to be released!
I agree buy the game. If we don't start buying them then they will stop making them. I gave this game a shot. Its ok. Just not my kind of game. Props for the graphics. I simply use some of the games here as "full version demos"

the grapple fix does nothing... important grapple points are still being moved to some small room below the map...
im at the point after i disable the water pumps distributing the titan... and the checkpoint is BEFORE i fight the monster, the gravity hack doesnt work since it makes the goons float, cant get out of their cage so i can fight them... sigh
