Download

Hi guys, after getting tired of nodlogin from Ulisessoft, we decided to make our own ESET thingy.

Made by the Nodster, matt and me, Damian666 for asta
we made it under The Damned Crew nick.

it works simular to Nodlogin, but updates from internet pages.
so no trouble with the server being down and crap

check it out.

Nodabler GUI is located here

new pictures will follow .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes:
+Bug fixes: error with no update sites defined, forced update broken in 3.3, (win 7) settings manager and installer won't exit, (win 7) music on/off freeze.
+Updated the list of license sites.
+Added an update checker that can be accessed from the NodEnabler main program and the settings manager, plus the option to define the URL to check from in the Settings Manager.

cssoz said:Also in v3.5 can you add automatically install UPDATES OPTION (where u can choose to install after update or just download or notify only)

thanks =P im trying to make Nodenabler to be perfect b4 u get back into University again.

Could be done, but it would be harder. I'd need to have hosting that allowed direct links and at least 5GB data a month (NodEnabler is rather popular for a 3MB file ;D ). I'd also have to incorporate some sort of silent installer option.

If anyone is interested, I've managed to make some headway into the cracking of the license expiry check encoding. The encoding of the username is out of the way (cheers Karlston for your insights) and I have an algorithm that will do it.
The password is a bit more tricky and could take some time. It's the first 16 characters of the encoding. The password itself is either truncated (almost always in real world application) or repeated to 8 characters, and two uppercase alphabetic characters represent a character within it (so abababab, abab, and ababababcc all give the same result). It's a substitution encoding, but the two characters that get output vary based upon their position in the encoded output and the username.
Here's some examples captured with wireshark:

matt1553 :
There are to guys at Nsane`s Forum that maybe they can help you. You have to register there to access the forum. One is called @MARA and the other one is @BOX. Both did the "Box-Mara.fix 1.3" for Eset. Contact mara in first place.

Cheers

thank you very much for the help.everything is working fine now.

I have tried to used nodlogin before but it tells me it cant connect to server for so many times. I'm just so thankful I found nodenabler and eventually found this site.

Kudos to everyone and the developers of nodenabler!

I'm really looking forward for a update with a license expiry check, because NodEnabler is downloading a new serial key everytime I start Windows, because the license expires soon, but he downloads a new one that expires soon aswell, so everytime I start Windows it will download a new one...

Matt also sometimes when NodEnabler installs a key it will say something like "license downloaded buy can't install" when i click on the user & pass GUI it has an additional "u" in front of "EAV" i think that's a bug. can you check that out?
