Tutorial 1: Making a Glass Orb

This is the first in a series of GFX team tutorials that we will be releasing over the next few weeks. We will try and do at least one a week, and we'll try and cover as many different techniques as possible.

If you have any question please feel free to ask, and don't forget to post your results. If there is any particular technique you want to learn, post it here, and we'll try and work it into the next tutorial.

This week we will be learning how to make a simple glass orb in photoshop, as well as working your way around the photoshop interface, and the basic principles of things like layering.

I hope you enjoy this first step into the world of GFX, and maybe some of the more experienced GFXers will learn a thing or two

All of the files used, as well as the original psd, have been included with this tutorial.
