container:

Defines the output format and the file extension of the converted audio or video file.

codec:

A video file contains an audio and a video track. A codec can be individually defined for each. For example, for an MP4 file you can configure the MPEG-4 codec for the video track and the AAC codec for the audio track. The output file can only be played back on your player when the correct codecs have been used.

bit rate:

The bit rate can be used to control the size and quality of audio and video output files. The original bit rate can be preserved or you can set a fixed bit rate of 24 to 320 kbit/s for audio and 64-20,040 kbit/s for video content. The best quality is achieved with a so-called VBR bit rate. In this case, Tunebite determines at run time which bit rates should be used.

frame size:

The frame size allows the resolution of the output file to be re-sampled for the end device. The configurable spectrum ranges from a resolution of 128x96 pixels through 16 levels up to HDTV 720p with 1280x720 pixels and HDTV 1080i with 1920x1080 pixels. It is also possible to preserve the original size or custom sizes.

frame rate:

The frame rate represents the number of individual images (frames) per second. 25 FPS (frames per second) is the standard setting. The frame rate may be set to a value between 6 and 60 FPS
