This sometimes happens to me with some of akil's images when viewed with IE, I think they don't seem to be recognized by IE as 'valid' images, so it can't display them properly, as they are displayed fine by firefox.

Even though I created the thread I swear it ain't me who's playing at "change the thread status"...

I've converted it back to a public release, but I'm not sure whose been changing them. Hopefully it won't happen again tobyb

This is my entry with some fixes. I've added some light effects and smoothed the mountains (to give them some deep of field)I think it's better now.

One little detail which bothers is her back.
The shadow of her spine has too much emphasis (looks too deep). I know your intention was to emphasis the girl's roundnesses but don't over-emphasis.

Here's my first edit, I worked mostly on adding depth and detailing, but there are still areas that need quite alot of reworking. Looking forward to this one, lots of very good entries so far

@predator, it looking great now, I can't see anything to say about it for improvements One of the things I like most about it is the way you have captured the motion, there is a real sense of the way all of the elements of the image are moving around

@tobyb I would like to have a link to a bigger size of your picture...

Yes right can't access it on photoserver. We need bigger link And thanks for the compliments. You guys may see that as a good work but I don't like my art, it's always like that. I can see that same painting made by someone else and say Whoooww it's great, but when I do it I don't like it.

Woops! soory I forget that you can't view that private galleries I've moved it to public, so you should be able to view it now
@predator, it's always the case with art, it is said that an artist will always look at the last thing they painted, whereas someone else will look at the painting as a whole, effectivly you know what's wrong with your image so you focus on those areas, while anyone else looks at the whole image, trust me it's good

yah...a compliments from others is more than anythings or its a big deal for us... ...we admire other works, but ours he he he he .....maybe its because we are to attache to it and later on cannot feel it anymore coz were used to it 24hrs. a day he he he...any way guys your all good w/ different style, has own mastery or specialty & we learned from one another....its great!! i thank you for that!

@ tobyb I just realized there is something illogical in your picture.
For the moon, we see it like a crescent because there is something in front of it which means we are not supposed to see stars... o.0

Anyway the picture's good.

<- this means 'I don't get it?' I was thinking that the planet the astronaut is on could be causing the shadow, or maybe another planet outside of the picture? I don't see why you shouldn't be able too see the stars?
Thanks for the comments though, I'm going to keep on working into it, ready for the final version.

ok then a shadow on the moon which means we would see the moon darken but not the stars...
because in this case your planet has the shape of a crescent... but normally the moon is round :)

Remark about this contest: I've noticed that the contest has just few entries (4 or 5) I think that's not enough and maybe we can, in the future, create adds for asta competitions to get more members and also to have more people participating. Mmmm what about prizes for asta competitions?

I tried advertising in All about all section but there's not much user participation.
But I can see we're improving. First competition we were 3. The second which is this one we have 5 participants.
