If you are using an Nvidia card then try updating your graphics driver, otherwise download the latest version of PhysX from the Nvidia website. With the other problem, try updating your DirectX.
I'm not using nividia, im using ATI Radeon HD 4350..... first, i've updated my DirectX, then the first problem solved.... once that solved, that PhsyXLoader problem occur.... how to solve eh.... help.....

but .. after getting into the main menu, the very 1st game (to test ur driving skill) the game just freeze..
u can download the latest version of PhysXLoader from NVIDIA website. Regardless whether you're using ATI OR NVIDIA card, u still need PhysXLoader in order to play the game (or perhaps other games as well)
I'm using ATI 4670 by the way, so is working perfectly fine

wenren93 is correct about still needing PhysX on a machine using an ATI card. I myself am using an ATI card, but I still had to download PhysX to get Unreal Tournament 3 to work.

In some cases the problem persisted. In one of friends case I did the following & it worked fine.
I installed the full version of the game.
Then I downloaded the RIP version of the game [RIP Version didn't have video or Sound files].
I extracted it to another folder [Not where I installed the full version].
After extraction I copied all files from RIP folder & pasted it in the full version installation folder. Overwrote same file names.
Started the game. IT WORKED SMOOTHLY!
its telling me that d3dx9_.dll is missing, where can i find it? help pliz
