Bhai actually jab bhi me tally latest version ko promotional code dal kar activate kar raha hoon then tally show a message "Promotional Code Invalid" iski kya wajah ho sakti hai?

If you are trying with new pc with new email id, then no error..

you can give anything like "mytally" in promo code field.

hey, my 3 months license has expired..... i reinstall my window xp and nw again trying it bt its nt working...... it says incorrect promotional code... also tried it by uninstalling using revo-uninstaller........ can it be cracked again...

good news who got vista

i have xp / vista and win-7.

I followed trick of tdck from earlier post.

to do this , i used "smac 2.7" to spoof mac address.

just changing mac id of ethernet card didn't helped.

so spoofed all the mac ids, which smac showed me. (but before that take backup of ur tally data, uninstall all previous erp version with reve uninstaller)

boot the pc.

try to reactivate again.

hurray... no 6244 error. (but sadly worked only in vista)

& then use RUN As Date software, to patch server time.(NOTE: if you will block server from ur firewall, u need to reactivate again, which got so many troubles)

share if you have more ideas here.

Nope. i totally dont agree with the thing that it notes the hard drive or the processor number.
i m using this rental license over 9 months by now. and every three months what i just do is.

1. Format my Laptop.
2. install windows 7 or xp (the same version which was already installed before)
3. use different PC name and username.
4. FIRST - Install Technitium Mac Address Changer 5.0 Release 3.(if tally installed before - it notes the MAC Address Original)
5. Change the MAC Address with LAN Connectivity (i.e LAN Cable Attached and Connected to Laptop or Computer).
6. THEN Install Tally ERP 2.1 Build 9.
7. Then use the rental activate.
8. Yippie i m done.

I Didnt change my Processor or my HDD. just changed the MAC and Windows. Just used new PC name and username. (Tried with new windows installed and same username and PC name - It didnt help for me).
