1) Install Driver Genius Pro 10 (drvgenpro.exe) & close.
2) Copy/paste crack file to (Default)-:
C:\Program Files\Driver-Soft\driverGenius
Win 7-:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver-Soft\DriverGenius
....confirm to overwrite existing file.
3) Make DriverGenius.exe read only so the upgrade process cannot overwrite
the cracked executable.
5) Start Driver Genius. Go to: Help / Enter Code

6) Update Database

While extracting the file - it says : encrypted file wrong password!!!

Look at the password carefully my friend...the i is a number one
Extracted file fine. installs in German. After install click on Werkzeuge which opens options. You can select language from there.
There isn't a serial number and this is an unregistered version. Can't update drivers unless you are registered.

I see the problem now matey!!.........It`s my fault and sorry for the hassle.
With the serial number, delete the " - " from the code..Now it will work!
Also, when you`ve copied/pasted the crack file over, make that file Read Only in properties.
Once again, Sorry!

The you`ve not followed the instructions properly my friend.
Uninstall, clean all files/folders & try again.
whn i do fresh install like u said, it will add driver first time
next time it updates....and its gone to trial version frnd....!!

i have been doing the same, making cracked file read only and took the check mark out of archiving option.....its only read only file, but still whn it updates and i try to 'download' new drivers, it asks for registration !!
I can only think that you may have a reminant registry key some where as I`ve uninstalled it so many times for other people to see that it is working this time round.
Have you got Your Uninstaller! installed, if not, I recomend you do & is on the forum.
You`ll this program removes many registry keys that a normal uninstall would leave behind matey!
there is also, good old CCleaner which does a good job and there`s XP/Win7 Manager which are safe reg cleaners and have reg backup.
find & delete all files/folders
Win 7
C:\Program Files (x86)\Driver-Soft
C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\DriverGenius
C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Local\Temp
Once this is done, Reinstall Driver Genius!
Hopefully you should be OK to update.

Changing the exe to read only after patching worked for me and it update without needing to be re-registered for me
