Video → Movies → In a request does it matter what region?

I was wondering when requesting a movie if it matters if it has only been released in one region format so far? There is one I've been looking all over for that was released in region 2 only so far so I wasn't sure if I should request it or not because of that. Thanks.

Like if a movie has only been released in region 2 and not in the US yet.

The movies listed are region free...since they have been converted to .avi or other formats besides .vob . No region setting are required to play. Only concern would be the language or subtitles if it was recorded from a differant region. I believe that's what you wanted to know.
