Ok I know nothing about smartphones lol. But I heard you can use an iphone or ipod to get an app that lets you text for free with out a service plan. I am interested in getting something like this for my son my question is, is it only iphone and ipods that do that or will androids do it also? Can all smart phones with wifi get on the internet without a service plan as long as there is wifi in the area? thanks
