In a week or two we will start to held weekly competition.
We are going to implement a feature to calculate your AstaPower and AstaKarma for the week period and thus we will determine the best Astareleaser of the week.

At the moment I`m planning to give out as a prize a 3 month free access to one of the most popular toll download service.
I`m planning to give prize for 2nd and 3d place too...maybe some accounts on rapidshare or other free hosting.

Feel free what would you like better as a prize here

Oh now we can't rate what we think of a topic.
What if it is a movie download and it is just poor quality...
And if people can't put their opinion in the rating can you at lease change this into a poll. If you can add a poll.

if you don`t like the movie dont +++ it at post in the comments that it is of a low quality. It will be much more informative thatn you just put a minus to the member

I believe it would be sweet, even though I'll probably not win. But it's always fun to have a competition.

Maybe you could change the theme of the competition each month, so top uploader, then top poster, most requests filled etc...
That way everyone, no matter how they contributed to the forum could win

i won't be getting into this contest.i just got my internet bill & i was charged 180.00 for uploads & downloads i made on asta.i don't mind helping people but after a bill like that forget it.i won't be using rapidshare or any places like that again to post links.
people here on don't even realize & probably don't care how much time & money are spent on the uploaders side.i think if anyone is going into this contest make sure you have unlimited time & bandwith or you will get screwed just like Bell Canada screwed me.
