Hi guys, my FF sound is really low compared to the rest of my pc, especially noticable when on youtube etc.
Still sounds normal on IE though, is there anyway to jack up the sound in about:config or something?
And yes, in sound all the sliders are on full in advanced.
Been like this ever since I got my pc, never got round to fixing it though.
Thanks

Here is what it basically says:
Rename firefox.exe to firefoxfix.exe now double click the new firefoxfix.exe you should now be able to have full sound in firefox.
Now to open the registry so we can open firefox.exe and not firefoxfix.exe again
1. Click your start menu and enter: Regedit.exe in your search bar and run it.
2. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore
3. Press CTRL+F and enter firefox.exe
4. In the bottom of the window, you will see the full key name containing the firefox entry. It will be similar to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore\f8ef7687_0
Right click that key in the left pane of Regedit and delete it and exit.
5. Enjoy your audio.
I don't have an 'audio' key, only 'extensions'
I'm on xp SP3, and reinstalling FF hasn't fixed anything, i'm now using the latest beta.

Save it as missing.reg (Make sure you include the Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 line) and then double click on the saved file to import it into your registry. You may have to re-edit your sound scheme when you have finished.
If you try this remember to back up first
