GraphicsOther graphicsHow does she do this?

I love this type of work and have been trying to figure out how it's done. Anybody know if there is a tutorial or a way to create these? I'm assuming it's done in photoshop with texture layers and soft blur but I'm sure there's more to it. http://www.jessicajenneyphotography.com/

You bet there is more, how could you believe one tutorial will learn someone how to make those stunning photos? Only many years of experience and work!
And these are her words:

Well I know there's alot to it but finding out what filters would be helpful I'm sure.

I believe gozu is mostly correct.
Among the various plugins, actions, textures available on just THIS forum you could achieve a very similar output. There are tons of tutes on the web...just google for...soft focus in photoshop, or color adjustments/highlights in photoshop, or even take the CS5 Total training, or Lynda.com tutes available all over the place.
Photoshop on its own is astounding for the effects it can produce...ya just have to learn how...!

Sometimes the best way to learn photoshop is to be inspired by someone else's picture and try to recreate the coloring.....not necessarily to copy it, but just to learn the skill. I do that sometimes too for practice.

In addition to the soft blur, it looks like she uses vintage textures, dark vignettes around the edges, and some vintage color actions. I think you could accomplish something similar with a mixture of Nostalgia Actions by Meghan Aileen, Alienskin Exposure 3, and Jessica Drossin's textures. I think those are all available here. Hope this helps!

LadyoftheFlwrs I agree...I love to learn new stuff and her work amazes me. I only want to learn how to do this..I love trying new things in photoshop. I also read somewhere where she said she takes photos with a canon powershot not anything special. I have Drossin's textures and they are great. Thanks for the info. :)

Sometimes the magic is in a good photo, sometimes in a good post processing...textures good, depends on what textures, som' not enought, usually works on HR pics, or filters of ps, some aqua forte effects with opac. reduced, or blur used with apropiate dosage, but be carefull, may induce a kitschy look!....I, personally prefer a picture to look as a picture, not an aqua forte/ pastel tableau! :) That is why painters are for! :b

She used to be a graphic designer for many, many years. She has a lot of photoshop knowledge and knows photo manipulation like the back of her hand.
