As per scenario many filehosts have blocked US, most of uploaders doesn't know which are blocked which not. To help you please help us with list of current working hosts not blocked US.

For fileserve I was noticing that I couldnt upload a larger file (200+mb) however I did manage to upload a smaller file (500kb)earlier today maybe I just got lucky? Also Hotfile seems to be working just fine as well, though they dont take too large files for free uploaders (400mb)

Situation is really weird,I'm thinking to add Netload in my list.
Although FF and MS links are working for US peoples but very much painful upload speed, but I can't leave my US mates, this the time when they need us much more than before. Don't worry guys, I was, am and will be providing the working filehost's links.

Which so far, apart from, Megaupload (Obviously) and Filesonic (Can access, but cannot D/L) , all is hunky dory Ha!

Using Proxy or Leecher will solve all problems here.. Especially for US people..
Please Google it.. You'll find a bunch of Free Proxy or the best thing is just search for "Free Leecher".. Use it to download all over the globe.. Trust Me it works fine, dear.. ^_^

Mediafire is nice for anything up to 200mb but when single files are 350mb each where to go? Mega was nice for those and fast and friendly to free users for downloading. Any suggestions for a mega replacement??

The ones I've tried as a free user are so slow it ain't worth the hassle. Can't see buying a premium account anywhere right now til all this crap plays out. Done lost on FS and MU.
Is there any out there that are a little more downloader friendly?

it is a good proxy for changing your ip but it would not let me dl any files while using it.

I live in the US and I can't get anything off Rapidshare anymore. Everything on Rapidshare when you click the link auto redirects me to their main home page (rapidshare.com). So I'm resolved they do block US citizens from downloading anything from them. I don't know if others have that problem, but since I'm experiencing it I wanted to post something. I've been fine using a few other sites to download from.
