Graphics → GFX Help and Tutorials → direction please in gfx

would someone tell me where and how to learn to do some of GFX i see like the moving sigs and such, simple tuts and the programs needed to get started. i would like to make one for the ASTA banner. got some stuff i my head just would like to try and dont know where to start.

hoi, if my "moving sigs" you mean gifs, i cant help mucho on that, but you could get gimp or photoshop (you can get the latter somewhere here in asta) and when you do, just google in images, "photoshop sigs, tut, etc" i found a whole bunch of them last time i searched for like 30 min. but i misplaced them LOL

I use photoshop for my sigs, I've never used gimp, but photoshop has all the tools you need to make great sigs.
There used to be alot of great gfx tutorials on the old forum, including a great one on animation, I'll try and dig them out for you, or I'll make a quick one for you.
