Who are you, how did you learn web programming (or are you just starting) and what are you good at ?

I'm British, been interested in programming for the last 4 years. I'm self taught and for the last year have been making websites professionally.

I love javascript and CSS. I think that PHP kinda sucks for loads of reasons, but since it's what I use everyday I have to learn to live with it. I've experimented with Python, both Zope and mod-python, though always tend to got bored before finishing anything.

i use Zend(and i kinda like it)..

i don't know what to say.

and i kinda sucks at JS and havent tried Java at all.. (i like C#, Delphi and some others)

I too am self taught, I do most of my work in php(&mysql) and javascript, though I try not to use too much javascript as it can be very unpredictable between browsers, so I try and limit it to ajax, and a few other things.

I'm from the U.S. I started programming in BASIC in 1980. After mastering BASIC, I moved on to Assembly Language. As times progressed, I've involved myself with other languages such as Visual Basic, C++, etc. I merely tinker arond with the latter 2 and have never built a website although it does interest me. Which brings me to why I'm here. To learn.

Hi, I'm new to this site..I'm a student... joined last month nd i've always ben interested in web design but never did anything abouot it 'cos I dont know where to get e-books from and also bcos i barely get d time to do so or i'm just lazy (dunno which 1 actually) so i guess i coulld use some help.... dunno wat else 2 say...

Hi , I m an Indian started my programming knowledge gaining from 1992 at that time i learned dbase III+,Cobol , C later i self taught got skills in vb6 from last 2 years i got skills in php and ajax I hav to gain master skills in AJAX and i will share my expr. with all.
