hem, generally, for offline PC you need an antivirus with offline update capability and offline standard antivirus security. you dont need antivirus with internet security capability.....

for me, i will choose kaspersky Anti virus version 7 (the old ones). i never use panda, for bit defender, its consume more PC resource and for avira, its bad identification, too much false alarm so for people who have keygen, and crack collection, do not use it

if the computer for working purpose and you already fill all the program and no need to change the system anymore (add or remove program) then i suggest DEEP FREEZE . you dont need to worry bout virus and updating. but CAUTION just freeze your system (drive C: ). and do not save your document in the partition that already frozen (for example C: ) since if you restart it, it will gone

Hi there, i like using NOD32. I can't seem to find a way to offline update Version 4, but there is a way to do an offline update for Ver 3. so basically all you need is to do is go to the internet and download the updated file and then use it to offline update your offline computer. Hope this will widen your vision

ok i will share mine. i dont think if it is the correct to discus my knowledge for best offline anti virus with GUIDE. kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is the best for offline PC for me.

Open the FOLDER KIS 9.0.0.459 and run the Updater.bat Like mine>>>

When the window disappears, in the folder of the update utility open the file iupdater.txt and make sure the file contains the following record (implying successful update):

base on my experience Kaspersky is the best for me with it comes in offline and online security Performance and there's no problem with it comes to update.

there is no update file for NOD on internet(as far as I know)....ya there is a method to do that.....the method is "there a tool which can capture update files form updated NOD, where its already installed and updated, those update files can be picked and install other computer where u need." more info google it or do reply.
