nice one adbit, +1 for you :)

hem, for ESET, after version 3, its seems that they consume more resource. i recommend to use version 2.7 for ESET, its really light. some people prefer this version rather the new version

BTW, i use latest version of ESET NOD32 which is 4.0.424 ;)

I use avast pro latest edition, the full system scans take a long time but very impressed with it. I also had trouble finding an AV once my E-Tust AV was no longer supported, of all the ones I tried avast and AVG are very good and worth trying, but the choice is yours.....I would recommend trying portables to see which one is right for you.

Here is one to get started with....

In addition to an antivirus software, I think it is really
beneficial to d/l Malwarebytes to scan your system for malware. It does not take any
resources as you start and run it when you want to do a scan 4 malware. You can do a quick scan or
a full scan depending on what you need...It has a very easy, user friendly interface...the free version is very effective...it updates easily and when you ask it to...
You can download it from cnet, its freeware
