General → Astatalk FAQ and support → Reponse to a request notification??

In the old forum, I would receive an email when someone responded to my request (ususally an ebook). Will this feature also work here, or do I have to do a "search" everyday ???

I am not getting emails or any kind of notification when my requests have been released. I don't see where I can click on 'watch this topic". and do I just click on the plus sign to leave thanks?????

I realize it could take hous for an email to be sent and received. But I posted a request for an ebook on Saturday, May 16. I still have not received an email that someone released this. The only way I found out was to keep going back and checking on my request.

I'm not even getting emails regarding this topic, when someone replies..........do I need to do something in my account setup????

It takes a couple of house for the e-mail to be sent. There is no "Watch this topic" yet. Lastly, you are right that the + sign is basically the new Thanks button.

i dnt think that it takes hours for the email to be sent........
the email notification service is very necessary..........
its very hard to search the replies in our posts

is this feature available yet? I'm not getting emails on topics/requests I want to keep an eye on....

thank you for mentioning it ...ok well it has been mentioned before...and i believe the crew are working on it. I agree this feature is most important as it is not a fully functional engine without it. This to me is most important too. I hope the asta developers understand that this is "very" important !!
