Torrents → Torrent Discussions and Torrent News → Torrent tracker admin/creator wanted

I have an idea to have our own trusted tracker to provide safe content exchange option.
In order to have a really trusted tracker it should be managed by someone from astatalkers I suppose.
If you are interested in bittorrent protocol and is good at php scripting please let me know about your candidature.

It sounds like a nice idea to have a torrent tracker, but inlight of the legal issues mentioned in the other post, I'm not sure this is the best idea, especially when ther are already alot of torrent trackers out there.
just a thought, I don't know much about torrents or the legal implications of being a tracker, but it seems a bit like a risk that may not be worth taking.

we will not run it under astatalk general terms
it may be a separate project, I have some partners in Asia who may help to establish it as a fully legal project in Asia for example.
And generally you should understand that Bittorrent itself is fully legal media p2p protocol. So if tracker has clear terms and conditions that disallow law infringement and there are moderators who react on abuses there is nothing to be afraid of.
