PC GamErs HangOutLooking for Writers for PCGH's PC Gaming Site

Guidelines for submitting reviews or previews:

~ Everything must be original and in your own words. No copies of someone else's work.

~ You must have played the game before writing about it. Reviews should be written after playing the game no less than 4 hours. Previews should be written after playing the demo/leaked version no less than 2 hours, unless there is a time limit on the demo.

~ Each preview or preview must contain 5 sections: Story, Gameplay, Graphics, Sounds, and Controls. For reviews, give a 1-10 score rating at the end of each section, and then at the end of the review, put your score total with a brief recap of why each section received that score. Previews need no scores.

~ Please be as detailed as possible in each section, providing reasons for each observation or opinion. Do not just say "The controls were dumb." Be specific. For example: "The controls for wall-jumping are a bit confusing, but once you have done it several times, you can wall-jump with ease."

~ Though this is not required, try to review a game that has been recently released on Astatalk. Include the link to the release at the end of your review with credit to the person and/or team who created the release.

~ Do not use foul language or offensive remarks. Use proper grammar and English.

~ Please include at least (2) Screenshots and (2) Youtube (or another site that allows embedding, or make your own) video links to be included in each review or preview. Take them yourself using printscreen and paste the picture in Paint or some other image progran, or use the in-game screen capture function, if there is one.

~ Please write the review or preview in a program that uses spell checker. I do not want to have proofread everything that is submitted.

~ All games, old and new, and game genres are welcome to have reviews or previews written about them.

don't need a list mate, just find cheats for a game and put them in an html format similar to the fallout3 review.

I will put together a list. Basically we just need a cheat for a game (any game) for each letter of the alphabet, because as of right now, we have nothing.

CHEAT CODES Consoles are not implemented in the games now-a-days. Only few uses them.So besides the traditional CHEAT-CODES any secret ways or hidden ways to beat a certain stage of the game can also be included in the cheats.
I am currently working for three int'l gaming sites as a reviewer & guide developer. Also working in a local site as a narrator for game devs. I can take those journals (As they are copyrighted by me) & give them to you guys.
I am thinking of creating a guideline for reviews & previews writing. Reviews should contain certain points on which the reviewer should develop the journal. Previewer should play to the certain stage to write a preview & it will also include specific points on which the writer have to put his points of view.
I'll do it only if you guys feel that it is OK with you.

All right guys, here are the guidelines for submitting reviews and previews. It is a rar file. In the rar file is a text file explaining ALL the guidelines. There is also a review/preview HTML template, as well as a .doc (word file) template in case you do not know HTML. Any questions, direct them here or hit me up on any messenger. My usernames are in my profile.

Damian, there are no specific titles that need cheats, just find a game for each letter of the alphabet and copy and paste the cheats to a word file, text file, or html file, and package it up, and upload it to mediafire or send it to my email. If you choose email, pm me telling me so and I will give you my email there.
