Cracking → Unpacking → [Help+Tips] General Unpacking

I've recently stumbled upon an application that either uses a custom packer -- or one PEiD just can't detect. I've searched and searched in attempt to find the OEP.. to no luck. (Rebuilding imports didn't work at any of the OEP's i THOUGHT to be correct..)

Can anyone give any hints, or tips on how to unpack applications such as these? I have no problems with the usual popular exe packers, but this, I haven't seen anything like it before.
