Hello Everybody...I'm Italian and i dont' speak english very well...but i have a very big problem...
Since 4-5 month my soundcard doesn't work...but i didn't nothing...
i try to reinstall driver, update drivers, format pc and to change operating system...but nothing happen...
I hear sound from hdmi device and not from my audio cases...so what can i do?

do u have extra sound card or onboard sound device doesn't work......hope u install sound driver. what operating system do u have? if u have extra pci sound card then u need to disable onboard sound device under BIOS.

it is the sound card that i bought with asus p5e...if you bought asus p5e, you received a sound card with its...so i try to dsiable onboard sound device? in fact, it is separated from the motherboard...after that, i try to reinstall driver...
but which realtek drivers can i install? HD Drivers or Ac97?

sound card driver must be in mobo's driver cd or vender must provide soundcard driver. what ur sound card driver model no and manufacturer.

download this tool and install then run and save the log then post the log here....we can find ur driver. good luck.

should use this driver "Asus P5E-VM DO Realtek ALC883 5.10.0. 5443" sound card
is available free on internet direct from Asus

I'm sorry mediafire doesn't open on FF, IE and chrome I don't know why but browser no supporting message appear all the time so I can't see ur log. if u post the log in text format that would be very nice. make sure u have onboard or external soundcard device. then search on manucaturer website for the driver.
