there's a terrible problem with my vista.. i cant surf in normal mode.. like all my internet browsers take at least 2 hours for a single page to fully load.. i have to wait another 2 hours or so to open another link and so on.. ive tried cleaning my registry with tuneup utilities 2007 but to no use.. ive also tried scanning the pc using eset nod32 antivirus 4 countless times but also to no luck.. the thing is limewire(for downloads only not the browser) and utorrent are functioning well just not the internet browsers like firefox chrome and ie.. i called our internet cable company, but he said everything is fine as far as the modem is concerned.. as of the moment, im using windows in safe mode.. but i heard it's not safe to use it in this mode when surfing the net.. so im really just forced to do this just so to find a solution to my problem..
any help would be tremendously appreciated! thanks in advance! =)
