when i turned my comp on after rearranging some cords and equipment my windows 7 said there was an issue during startup (cnt remember what it said) and then it suggested i do a system restore so i said ok when it started back up it now looks like windows95 and ive gone into the different display option and cant change it does anyone know what i can do?

Click on "Basic and High Contrast Themes--->Windows 7 Basic"
if that does not solve, then plz provide some screen shots to the current display theme.
