So I made this tutorial out of sheer boredom. This target is really easy to understand, so I definitely recommend this to the new guys.
As far as I know, the Machine ID the program gives you is NOT used in the serial generation routine. Hopefully you learn something and have fun.

Use alternative full direct download
When a message box opens like the one in this program(the badboy) do not click ok, but go in olly and click F12(Pause) then click Alt+F9(Execute till user code) then go in the program and click the ok button and olly will break...
You may have to F8 a bit until you get back to the code but it is a real time saver.

and instead of using a tool for hex conversions click like in the eax register in olly and type in the hex and just don't click ok it will tell you all you need to know lol.
