I just feel I should let you know about the following. It looks like Microsoft (as they did with Vista) are going to start cracking down re Windows 7, with Windows 7 systems "phoning home" to Microsoft every 90 days to check their validity.

Look out for the upcoming update (due later this month)
"Update for Microsoft Windows (KB71033)" (due approx 16 or 23 Feb).

The advice seems very much to be, do NOT install it.
