I am looking for new audiobook series to get into. I love Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega Series, all Charlaine Harris novels, and the Rachel Morgan Series by Kim Harrison.
I've tried L.K. Hamilton and wasn't into it as much. I prefer novels with a female heroin and I am very much into werewolf focused stories but I do like witch and vampire novels as well.
I've tried finding new authors through searches on Amazon and literature maps with little luck. I am looking for advice from people who have read the series themselves.

I would recommend Jeanne Stein's Anna Strong series. There are 5 books. I don't know if there will be more. I enjoyed them.

Rachel Vincent's 'shifters' series is good. there are 5 books in this series revolving around werecats with a woman growing into the heroin role. the order is: stray, rogue, pride, prey, with shift being her newest (which came out in march, 2010). the author plans for one more final book in the future.

I liked the Silver Wolf Series by Alice Borchardt. It's only 3 books, and It's not your typical werewolf story. It's period, but it was really good, fresh, and different. You may like it.

I would recommend Jeaniene Frost as her main female lead is strong and interesting and the male lead is to die for.
