Two little questions to ponder:

1.Why do they even try to abridge these books?

They are normally 12 hours long or so unabridged, and when they are abridged they are about an hour shorter.
I just cannot fathom the reasoning behind it.


2. What happened to Susan Eriksen's narration in books 13 and 14?
All of a sudden she did no "voices" and it was a lousy read of good books.
She made these stories really hard to follow as the characters were hard to tell apart.

She did come good again in book 15 or so.
