Audio → Music → Favorite Bands... Going Downhill?

So, I'm bored and curious. Has anyone else noticed their favorite bands/musicians just going downhill and missing the bar at some point?

Examples: Metallica releasing Death Magnetic... I mean come on James, really?
Ozzy releasing Scream... need I say more?

Anyway just wondering who else has experienced utter disappointment with their most favorite band/musician?

Please include the band/musician, album and/or the song(s) that brought you disappointment and don't limit yourself to just one.

By the way, I'm new. Lol.

Guns N Roses - Chinese Democracy. After about a decade of waiting and hype...the album sucks. Plus Axl Rose is a knob and he's only gotten worse over the years.

Alter bridge and bullet for my valentine, both are slowly verging further away from being good, bullets new album was nothing special, expected a lot more. Alter bridge's new album has not lived up to expectations either. Nothing compared to their last album. I was also going to mention kings of leon as going downhill, but after hearing there new album, im in love with them

linkin park - a thousand suns. So their first 2 albums were excellent, their third was ok, but when they released a thousand suns they hit a new low. Biggest disappointment in my opinion, their genre has changed so much.

Evanescence. Enough said. Amy needs Moody and vice-versa.
Their sound lacks the haunting melodies and excellent hooks.
They're just fading into the celebrity oblivion of "Hey, remember when?"

Try to listen FREE od later band formed by almous same boys BAD COMPANY (with Paul Rodgers's vocals). Very good to pass Your melancholy. I was listned. It works.
