i just record some video with my canon ,,,VIXIA HF S200,,,,,,,,,then ,,i hope to edit it with imovie ,,,,the version is 08,,,but when i import my video to imovie,,,,failed,,,,,,why,,,,any help?



(best answer copy from yahoo.answer)VIXIA HF S200? it record avchd.mts video, to be frank, iMovie'08 or '09 can accept MTS video, but only when they are running on an Intel-chip based Mac. A PPC Mac won't work.
you may need to decode your canon video to mov ,dv etc formats that can be accepted directly by imovie,,hope this help,,,good luck!
