i dont no whether this topic has been covered or not.
in the downloads for windows forum-in the rules thread-rule no 13 says there is a thread in which to post invalid urls. but when i clicked that link it was not there.so...

The link might have been okay when it was originally posted. The file hoster or original uploader might have removed the file.
Just hit this button:
Next to the post and tick "Dead Links". The mods will try to find a new link or delete the thread.

When you report a post for broken links, there is a field where you can specify which ones are broken and provide additional information for the mods. That way they can remove only the broken link.
