My family somehow managed to end up with -through very little fault of our own!- 9 cats. Keeping up with their shots and flea treatments is a little pricey, but you can definitely put me down as a cat lover =)
I'm still trying to catch them all laying on a bed, sometime, so I can get a shot of it.

I have always been a dog person... but a few years back I came across a beautiful male siamese cat who was being abused and neglected by my neighbors. So, one cold night in january this poor cat had been in a fight with another animal and was half dead on my front porch. We took him in and cleaned his wounds and got antibiotics for him and nursed him back to health. We ended up moving not too long after that and we took the cat with us. He's been a member of our family ever since... and sleeps under the covers with us..lol So, I guess now I am a cat lover too!

I love cats as well...I have 5 of them. lol
We started out with one, then the neighborhood kids came and asked if we had lost a cat. We didn't so they asked us if we'd hold the cat until they found the owner. The kids went door to door in our neighborhood looking for the owner and no one claimed her. We ended up keeping her...a week later, we took her to the vet and as soon as the Vet picked her up, she said "She's due in 10 days". *sigh* lol
6 days later, we had 3 new kittens. We didn't have the heart to give them away, they were just so cute lol They're about 4 years old now and part of the family
