The background is plain...only cloud...and to empty.
No focal point,color and depth.
Bad choosing of font.
The lighting was bad either...
Try to improve it,hybrid.

all valid points, and it does look really empty now that I look at it a day later, will try and improve it, thanks for the comments.

Dropped it into my CS3. I hope you wont mind the honest critics:

1. The hair spikes (red extensions) are way too unnatural looking. More depth. See the drop shadow u used on the spikes against the smoke in the bg, well, it worsens the lack of realism. Suggest a nice gentle oute glow with no softening though. (I wish I knew how to post an image her so i could retouch 4 u bud)
2. The word RELIGION (nice effect) but too flat
3. The words AS YOUR....font doesnt belong in here
4. Nice touch on filter use on the hand flame but you should have increased tge flame height and added a little less movement.
5. Smoke in the bg is looking a little flat. Did u use difference clouds. U shouldnt have. Draw the clouds bro. Its not that hard.

A suggestion. If u know your animation...drop your image into Autodesk and give the bg some movement.

Damn how I wish I knew how to post pics here haha
