A: Vertex model 3 is the next stage of video card development. 'Other games' will work perfectly fine if you don't need Shader 3. If the game does require it, there is no workaround, short of buying a new video card, which is pretty cheap nowdays. The same thing happened 5 years or so ago, when they came out with Hardware T&L...

B: Have fun finding GAMES for that there Mac. Macs are overrated, and there aren't any games to be had. I have one for work, and ended up installing Prallels so that I could put XP on the computer and run PC games. Either way, buying a Mac won't magically get you the video card requirements you need, anyway.

I installed the game, and when I tried to start it, I got this error message:
