Rex, if you're using Photoshop, frames can be done 2 ways (that I know of).

1) By getting Frame Brushes from any number of places on the net, but above all you should check out Owen's pack of goodies for Photoshop, found here:

Use this download links:
Code:
http://files.filefront.com//;8334500;;/

Also found here, split up:

Brushes:
Use this download links:
Code:

Gradients, Actions, and a few more Brushes:
Use this download links:

Patterns:

Styles:
Use this download links:

2) The other way to do frames is by changing the Canvas size while your color is the color you'd like for your frame. A little simpler, but not as effective or cool looking. Wink

Hope that helps...

For all the Photoshop stuff, you just have to copy the items into the right location in Photoshop. In Windows, it's ProgramFiles -->Adobe --> Photoshop CS3/CS2 --> Presets --> Brushes. Or similar to that...

open your Photoshop, and from the menu above, go to Edit > Preset Manager. After the Preset Manager opens, choose what you want to install. If it’s a brush set, then you don’t need to change anything. But if you are going to install layer styles, custom shapes or anything else, then choose it from the drop down menu of Preset Type
Then click Load and choose the file you want to install. That’s it! Your new set of brush, layer style, gradient etc. is now ready to use . Simple, isn’t it?

Now for the second way: Very Happy

Assuming your Adobe Photoshop is installed in C:\Program Files\ and you are using Adobe Photoshop CS2, go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets. From there, open the folder (plugin name) that you want to install in and copy/paste the file. Now open your Photoshop, and your new preset will be ready to use.
For example, if you want to install a new style, go to the Style folder, and paste your .asl file there.

I hope this tutorial has been useful to you. Wink

Ahh...another way to accomplish that. Thanx Barrie! It figures they've made a front door for it now...and I'm just busy going thru too many steps. LOL

It stays there forever unless you delete them.
