3.5 c
Minor Changes
1. Changes in UP VAT 24
a. Provision made for Non-VAT Goods. Now, a User can tag any Sale/Purchase Type as Non- VAT Goods and the same will be reflected accordingly in VAT 24.
b. Till now, printing of Unregistered Purchase in col. 8 was optional. Now it has become mandatory.
c. Purchase Tax as calculated from col. 8 would be reflected automatically in col. 13 (i)
d. ITC on Purchase Tax can be claimed by adding a journal voucher affecting Input VAT and then adjusting that amount in the category On A/c of Purchase Tax Paid in the VAT Adjustment window. This amount will then be reflected in col. 14 (iii).
e. VAT Return Categories provided in Sale/Purchase Types to cover columns where no values were being printed by default.
f. Provision made to print Treasury Challan No. & Date.
2. Provision made to maintain Book No. in Sales Invoice. The same can be enabled through Vouchers Configuration Voucher Numbering.
3. In Vouchers Configuration Voucher Numbering, provision made to specify the Starting No. up to nine digits. Till now you could specify Starting No. up to five digits only.
4. <CASH_TENDERED> and <CASH_TO_BE_RETURNED) fields added in Invoice configuration.
5. In UP Annexure A & B, instead of Item Name, Item Print Name would be printed.
6. In RG-23D Register, ECC code of the party was not being printed. Now it will be printed.
Bugs Removed
1. If only one Material Centre exists, then Batch-wise Details window was not appearing in Item Master Add window but it was appearing in Item Master – Modify window. Now problem rectified.
2. While picking data from Sales/Purchase Order, Bill Sundry details were not being picked properly. This problem started in 3.5 (b) version. Now problem rectified.
3. In Sales voucher, Trading Excise, if excise duty values were picked from the purchase references, then incorrect values were being posted in accounts. Now problem rectified.
4. While saving a voucher with VAT/(R) or VAT/(T) Sale/Purchase Type, a warning message with the message “incorrect tax percentage” appeared even if correct tax percentage was levied in the voucher. This problem started in 3.5 (a) only. Now problem rectified.
5. Sometimes an error was being generated in MIS Reports Data Checklist Inventory Day Book report. Now problem rectified.
6. In UP Annexure A & B, if full Items details were not being printed, then the address details of parties were also not being printed. Now problem rectified.
7. While trying to run any third party Add-On, an error “ActiveX component Can’t Create Object” was being generated. Now problem rectified.
8. In Hardware Configuration, sometimes the list of DOS Emulation Modes was shown blank with no option to choose from. Now problem rectified.
9. While designing a document, Preview option was showing improper preview for static text. Now problem rectified.
