| does it mean a key is blacklisted when it says license is not compatible with this application? |

Not compatible messege will come only when u put key of different version. In case of blacklisted key of the same version the messege will be like something " exceeded the number or key is blacklisted" as i remember when I last time installed it. |

| well...honestly, i think $7.50 is worth it for a actualy real kasperskey antivirus 8, i mean we all are having so much trouble trying to find valid key only to have them black listed a week or 2 later.....I'll get mine on ebay lol |

Purchasing is always good but I think u r not going to get from your retailer or original sites what astalavista is providing u free along with technical help in details. I realy thank to its energetic team.
Anyway, due to the trouble u mentiioned, thats why i am shifted to NIS 2008 v.15.5.0.23. Once u get it activated u get it for the whole term for which u got activated. symantec will never trouble u during the subscription time. This is my experience. |

but I've heard that NIS really slows down PC. Add to that giving false detection. A lot of people say that Norton is not a strong antivirus as say kaspersky or even bitdefender. |

| NIS doesn't slow down the system from version 2008 onwards. NIS 2009 is a breeze: installation under a minute! |

no the link he gave is banned by kaspersky antiviruses only coz they figured out to keep people away from visiting that site (coz they give away free keys) so they blocked it and warns us that it is a hacker site but I've already visited that site and downloaded some keys before and nothing happened to my PC.
But if you have doubts then you can find some keys here posted by our members.. |

hit the tab "activate using the key files" and browse for the key on your pc, selecct it and press ok. its done if key is proper and not blacklisted. If messege comes for blacklisted key then select another one till u find the right one. |
