whasuup hybrid?This prog downloads ok but doesnt install.Is there way to
go bout installing without wiping out my Hard drive?
I instyalled other cs4s like photoshop and flash ok but this one doesnt
install.Any advice?

Hey Hybrid,

I have an issue, Maybe u can assist. Did the cs4 master TWICE, on one machine worked (laptop) second machine keeps asking for SN. No newbie here, did everything. even monitored the "outbound" ip traffic. But the programs still say:

Hybrid sorry for the late reply.I cleaned out my registry and changed some
permissions.It took me 2 days to solve this but finally its now working.

Hybrid, I DL'd from your links. Have the same problem as Tusker. Dl's fine then will not install.

Tusker you said that you fixed the problem, what was the solution and the cause?

I really don't want to ave to format my C: drive as other posts suggest. Any other options? I am really interested in your fix Tusker.

I am using WinXp Pro SP2, I already have PS CS4 Extended installed and runs fine.
When I try to run the installer for Illustrator a window pops up that goes by so fast that you can 't see what it is saying. I can see that it is saying something about an Adobe Installer, but that is it.

Any suggestions?

MaverickA4 when you tried installing after it failed to install what is showing
on the dialog box?Usually it will be like.........failed to install.......
and youll usually see some other words following that.
Try again and post what it says.Without that cant know exactly whats
wrong.

Tusker that is the screwed up thing, the window that pops up flys by so fast that literally, you can't see what it says. At all.
The only reason that I know it has to do with the installer is that I had to keep hitting the setup and watching one spot until it flashed.
Took about twenty tries before I could even read that it was an installer window. Even then I am not 100% sure.
I just figured if I knew your fix, then I could try it and see what happens. I am going to try on another computer. Will let you know.
