1.: unrar with latest winrar or use 7zip!.
2.: double click: NBA-START.EXE ( must be done )
3.: run nba2oo8english registry patch
3.: double click: nbalive08.exe to launch the game!.

After all size should be 3.25 GB ( folder )

S p e c i a l I n f o N o t e :

Some virus-scanner recognize the header of a packed exe

( NBA-START.EXE )

as a lame virus, (coz its thebyte by byte check error of em!.)

Its almost certainly a false positive alert from overly protective heuristics

So after unpacking, if game is 3.25 GB it means that this isn't RIP, jut highly compressed?

Doesn't work for me. I get the opening screen, then it says $TXT_STARTUP_LICENSE_INFO on the bottom, then goes to the menu, where I can't see any menu options. It then says at the bottom right $TXT_HELP_NEXT_SONG, I click the X at the top right, and I get the option to $TXT_QUITWINDOWS. I followed the steps too.

I have downloaded it successfully and played it but after the first quarter is finished, the game just shuts down, i tried to play it again but same problem. i cant even finish a whole game. only first quarter. can someone help!

yes I already tried that one also, it works just fine only in a regular game. but im only playing NBA live in dynasty mode and that is the problem. when i play a regular game its ok and I can finish a whole game. but as I have said its the dynasty mode that i'm after. It crashes in the dynasty mode after first quarter.

hey how come I can't hear the any commentaries during the game?... And isn't there supposed to be some sort of intro when you start the game... And what's the last file for? Seems to be empty. The game works without it.
