I don't care what anyone says,
all the collections that have been posted on the web are incomplete collections,
until now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Formerly Roland Vector Art ~ this is one impressive collection.............
There are ONLY 3 volumes that even exist and here they are !!!!!
This is the REAL entire collection of Volumes 1,2 and 3. This is the Whole Damn Thing,
It is 1.32GB unpacked and 456MB Packed

you must remove the rar extention ~ join the files using HJSplit and then unrar using winrar.
sorry for the hassle, but hey, the files are ALL here*

omega man. This is an interesting post. I'm testing everything now. You embedded the url and made sure to hide it, but you forgot to code it to keep the spiders away. I know that is would have messed up your format as the coded links would no longer show embedded. But there is a strick rule about this. Here it is:

*************************************************************************************************

Please use the code inside the code below to wrap your links. You can do this by pressing hide then press code then insert a link then press code then press hide.
Code:
[hide][code]http://www.astatalk.com/[/code][/hide]

It will then look like this
Use these free links to download now:
Code:
http://www.astatalk.com/

The reason for the code is that the referrer will not see where you are coming from when they are in the code and will not be indexed by search engine spiders and deleted.

The reason for the hide is so that members will be more inclined to sign up to see the links and contribute.

Links that lead to other topics or posts do not need to be coded that are on this forum.

Please also take the time to read the rules.

Use these free links to download now:
http://www.astatalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=2

If you posted other links that lead outside the forum please edit your posts.Thank You Management.

*************************************************************************************************

Please make the adjustments.

btw: thanks for the share. I'm getting the feeling this is going to be good.

Sounds like it might be good. Do you have a screenshot or URL to see what we're downloading? Thanks.

Not as easy as you think since there are a zillion folders
all having the same names and images all having the same names
and it would take a year to catalog each folder individually ;~

unless i'm missing something with portfolio.......................?

It's been more than a year since I did this, so I had to go through it again and refresh my memory. (If you don't use it, you lose it.) I tried several different programs before setteling on this one as being the best. I had a copy of the disk for Vector Art Mega Collection II, but I didn't have a catalog for me or my customers to quickly view all the files.

Here is the way I did it using Extensis Portfolio 7. When you open the program choose "Create a New Portfolio Catalog?" In the "New Catlog" window, navigate to the .eps files you want to work with. In this same window, give the file a name. I chose "VAMC II". Click save. In the "Use Screen Previews?" window check the box to "Enable Screen Previews." Click Done. In the upper left area of the tool bar, click "Add" and again navigate to the .eps files you want to work with. Select all 26 files simultaneously and hit "Open." When the "Cataloging Options" window opens, click "Save As." When the "New Preset" window opens, I used "VMAC II Page 1" as the Preset Name. Hit "OK" to close the "Cataloging Options Window." It takes only a few seconds for the program to process all 26 files that are on page 1 and they all appear on the screen highlighted. Each file will have its number followed by .eps. You should number each page so that it will be fast & easy for you to import the correct .eps file into your cutting or printing program. Now, only 194 more pages to go!

It seems a bit complicated, but once you do a few pages, your speed will increace. I printed each page, 6 rows & 5 colums. You can alos save them all in one folder and use Portfolio to quickly and easily view them. If you look in the folder where you save the 1st page, you will see 3 new entries: a file named VMAC II previews" which is made up of 26 farily large jpg files, a very small"VMAC II.adm" file, and a large "VMAC II.fab" file.

If my explination is not very clear, try the "Help" file in the Portfilio program. That's where I learned how to do this.

Hope I wasn't too long-winded and was able to help someone a little. I'd really like to give back whatever I can to the GREAT members here at Astalavista. Happy

Thank you RG Signs ! Iwill try that -- your explanation is very clear and well-written. Was wondering what Extensis Portfolio was used for !
