| I don't own an Iphone but I have an Ipod Touch which is very similar and I personally love it, the touch screen is just amazing. |

| I really don't see much of a point in it. It basically is an iTouch (iPod touch) with phone and camera. Oh, and here in te UK, the contract sucks on it. I don't hate all Apple, iPods are great, but I have to say no. |

I personally do like Apple for the most part, even though i went through 2 MBPs in 8 months  but i have to have ti for school. Anyways, i think the iphone is too fragile, too thin, yea it has cool features, but you have to have it locked in a compound if you want it to be safe from the outside world. |

I know, it just looks like that to me. I remember going into the Apple store one time and this guy dropped his, it had one of those rugged type cases on it, the screen crack and the internal hard drive failed. I dropped my Motorola KRZR phone without any case on it onto concrete, nothing happened to it, except the glass on the outside cracked, the screen didn't break nor the internal memory. |

| I don't like it because it has very little storage and the touch screen technology hasn't been perfected yet in my opinion. But if someone bought one for me I wouldn't turn it down. |

| Not to change the subject but apparently Sprint is coming out with a "IPhone Killer" I think it's good that a different Provider is coming out with something touch-related. |

iPhone sucks because of 2 things
-Low battery capacity
-keypad design (i'm texting super fast but with iPhone design i'll take about 5 minutes to compose 1 message)
but i dont like apple,
i like first, the iPod which i have even though i have PSP here, |

I think the IPhone is ausome because so far there hasn't been a good competitor with the internet browsing. Apple makes good products.
(Only bad thing is now the IPhone 3G monthely cost is $70 a month compared to the old Iphone wich was only like $45 a month. And it has some bugs so im sticking with the old version IPhone.) |

It looks seriously cool....but it's mostly crap. AT&T is carrying it at a lower price so they can set it up in their store and keep people from being able to use it with other carriers. It doesn't have A2DP capabilities.....so no wireless stereo headset. The G3 network is a scam....Apple set the iphone up so that it will automatically use The Edge Network if a tower is closer and you can't over-ride it. The AT&T plan is quite a bit more expensive on top of it.
Furthermore, you are forced to buy each phone sep. even if you have an account with multiple phones. This nets Visa more money from transactions. The phones are delivered by UPS, if you have to order one, and they are bulk shipped to the store. Yet, you're charged a fee like it came to your house by FedEx. Each phone gets a new shipping charge....no combined shipping or anything.
It takes forever for AT&T to set it up, then you have to turn around and do it all over again from home. At this point, I've had to connect through a Wi-Fi, because G3 & Edge Networks aren't even working half the time....yet there are towers surrounding me. The Edge Network via an Apple device is soooo slow, because of how it chooses to connect (unlike Blackberry on The Edge, which is way faster)....I just close applications out before they ever load.
Downloading music through itunes sucks.....if you use something like emusic....your songs just "disappear" randomly and that's with using only a manual sync and never setting it to replace songs. Apple does everything it can to be as much of a monopoly as Microsoft. It bullies you into accepting what they push on you, once you've bought a product.
There's a fair chance I'm going to return my phone if Blackberry or Google comes out with something better.  |
