But, joking aside, the high cost of fuel in the UK is due almost entirely to Government Taxation. The duty on fuel is, I think, 57p per litre for both diesel and petrol, and after adding the fuel duty they then add on 15% Value Added Tax (a tax on a tax). And that is why fuel prices in the U.K. are as high as have been quoted here. But there is a backlash going on at the moment from the haulage industry, which is having go-slow demos on major roads throughout the country. But then, it is all academical to me - I don't drive because my eyesight is too bad (glaucoma) |

I paid Rp. 6,000 for a litre of RON 88 Gasoline (about USD 2.5 per gallon), the Government said they subsidized it ... ridiculous ...
For non-subsidized fuel (RON 92 and 95), the price is about USD 4 per gallon.
The fuel price is too high for most Indonesian people, considering the minimum wage here is only about USD 100 / month .... |

It is high but might not be expensive.
I think cheap or expensive is directly depending on your income, or for a country it is depending on average income of the people. |

hahaha
look at you all
well the gasoline here is higher than 5$ in alittle bit in my country
it decreases well
plus it is mixed with water
and not filtered good enough
we use the worst kind
the kind that is garbage
and now it depends on politics
though if every thing is fixed wioth Iran the price will fall
and if not the prices will be souring |

i'm not sure about the exchange rate at the moment either, but i think it's like 33 baht per dollar or something like that. |

| We pay RS.225 per Gallon in india which is around $2.00 |
Please correct me if am wrong.
| Code: |
| 1 US gallon = 3.785 liters |
In India we pay Rs 50/litre
that means 3.785 * 50 =Rs 189.25
1$ = Rs 40 approx..
So, 189.25 / 40 = $ 4.73
Hence, I can say that its Very Expensive in India .. |
In India Hyderabad ( South India ) we pay 5.36 per gallon i think we pay the highest price for gasline) I wish gasoline be avalible online so i can download it from usa or gulf on cheaper rates or may be free from asta...lol |

We use PETROL |
Petrol is almost always called gas or gasoline in the USA and Canada. The term "petrol" won't be understood in this context. Likewise, petrol stations are called gas stations, petrol tanks are called gas tanks, petrol pumps are called gas pumps and so on. |
