But, joking aside, the high cost of fuel in the UK is due almost entirely to Government Taxation. The duty on fuel is, I think, 57p per litre for both diesel and petrol, and after adding the fuel duty they then add on 15% Value Added Tax (a tax on a tax). And that is why fuel prices in the U.K. are as high as have been quoted here. But there is a backlash going on at the moment from the haulage industry, which is having go-slow demos on major roads throughout the country. But then, it is all academical to me - I don't drive because my eyesight is too bad (glaucoma)

I paid Rp. 6,000 for a litre of RON 88 Gasoline (about USD 2.5 per gallon), the Government said they subsidized it ... ridiculous ...

For non-subsidized fuel (RON 92 and 95), the price is about USD 4 per gallon.

The fuel price is too high for most Indonesian people, considering the minimum wage here is only about USD 100 / month ....

and not filtered good enough
we use the worst kind

and now it depends on politics

i'm paying 29.54 thai baht per liter of gasohol 95. i'd tell you how much that would be per gallon, except i have no idea how many liters to the gallon.

i'm not sure about the exchange rate at the moment either, but i think it's like 33 baht per dollar or something like that.

In canada its $1.36 a litre so 1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres

1.36 x 3.78541178 =5.1

I hate math so I guess around 5 dollers agallon, correct me if I am wrong

In my country it cost about 1.30e-1.40e per 1 litar. I do not know how much is gallon i mean how many litars is it

Here in Texas it is $3.79 a gallon but with the Hurricane its probably going to raise to over $5 a gallon but hopefully it will go back down

Southern US and we pay between 4.30-4.50 a gallon here. I told Santa to bring me a scooter this year....lol

in Denmark it keeps changing but approximately 1.8$
