I have used DVDFab since the version 5 and was going along really good for a long time and then I guess there was so new encryption or something that kept causing a readback error or even a burn failure ...............anyway I have since updated everytime the program changes to no avail still unable to get the newer movies to work and I was just wondering if anybody has tried this new version successfully before I yet again Uninstall and reinstall or maybe tell me what I'm doing wrong any help would be appreciated as always .................thanx in advance

I have the same problem. This new version keeps crashing. I have revert back to 5.2.2.


I used to have 5.0.8. Did not update for a long time. 5.2.2 works like a charm

I haven't had any problems with with the program... Just my XP decided to crap on me. I have found when it decideds to get wonkie, and not want to read the DVDs, I just put the master in the burner, and let it copy to the hdd, and then burn it from there... There are some DVD Roms that will not read the DVDs at all. LiteOn is one, although I don't have one, I have done some extensive research on it since I ran into a problem buring a few DVDs and then found out that there are some that will not read them. So then I moved it to my burner and it worked with no problems. That is the only thing that I can say to that problem. Otherwise use the DVD Decrypter, and make it a MCD, and then copy it that way. Takes too long that way, but that is another way to do it.
