No luck, with this new (and of couse different) version oft gem2.msi i go the "Time out: Bytes not found" message.

Tried in two windows xp32 different systems and in a Windowsxp virtualpc clean system. Same results...

It looks like there is another gem2.msi file version. The one that kewpot82 and cozofdeath used in the first time.

Help uploading the original file will be much appreciated.

I have had a 50 / 50 relationship with this loader. On one machine (XP Pro 32bit, Intel P4) the install and patch works perfectly. On my other machine (also XP Pro 32bit, Core2) I have the same configuration of .net 2.0 and Xcel 2003 and the patch doesn't work (Time Out: Bytes not found). Strange.

I'm also using the .msi reposted by Terry35 before it was taken down.

Not sure where to go from here.

Sorry I've been away for a while. I got other things going on. I've checked this out again. I just downloaded the installer so everything should be correct and up to date. This is a kind of a choose your method...

In serial fishing I get 1781742 for me. Whether it will work for you I don't know. You can also put it in C:\docume~1\All Users\Application Data\gem.lic to have it licensed.

Or if someone is feeling bored try to keygen it if possible. The correct key can be found in Olly if you run the program and bp 539660. Type a serial and hit activate it should break. Run it again and the correct serial will be on the stack.

Hopefully this solves this problem.

No luck... try in several systems... same problem.

Try with Olly (of course i am not and expert) and the break point in 539660 cause a permanent break. So there is no chance to insert a fake code.

Trying the H point and no luck... How do you get the breakpoint Coz?

I've figured out how to make it work on pentium 4 CPU, running XP sp3

1. Install the .msi
2. Open Notepad, type, 1460437
5. Save as gem.lic
3. Place this text file into C:\docume~1\All Users\Application Data\
4. Run ParaCloudGem 2.0

I might have left the impression that my gem.lic number generated
by the coz's loader will work on your computer, IT WILL NOT!

It will only allow you to upgrade from SP2 to SP3 on that particular computer.

At this moment the loader will not work on a Quad CPU, regardless which OS is installed.

Yes it not work... may be if you give me your working system mac address there is an oportunity to try it. (assuming that the mac address is the way to set a valid activation number).

I dont belive that it is a quad or pentium issue... I tried it in A LOT of systems. Even in a P4 windows 2000 with same results...

It sound like if I gone crazy but did you check if the two .exe are the same in the different systems?. I saw that it load a lots of system dll so may be the problem in one of them...

Don't know... I am just a newbie in cracking... still have to learn a lot...

Your not supposed to insert anything just look on the stack on the bottom right to see the correct serial. Then start the application and enter your serial and it will activate the program by putting it in the .lic file.

Humm I better explain me a little bit more.

If i set a bp in 539660 gem2 will permanmtly pause. If i press F9 it will pause again and again and again... so the break happen continuosly....

I dont have the chance to insert nothing in the program window. I have to deactivate de bp so the program run again....

Anyway thanks a lot for your help Coz.

You have to run the program in Olly. After it is open and asking for the activation code then bp 539660. When you click activate it will break (Olly will pause) and the serial you entered will be on the stack (lower right). If you press F9 (run) Olly again it will break (pause) again and the correct serial will be on the stack. I will try to release something better as this doesn't seem to be working.

After watching numerous Olly tutorials, I have reached "the agony of da feet" Sad I can't get the serial on my Quad Core CPU/Vista64 install. I'm still hoping for Coz to have a 2nd look at this in the near future. TIA

Good afternoon.
Any way on breaking has not worked.
Likely because of that in Vista x64 there is no such way - C:\docume~1\All Users\Application Data\
It would be good, if can make crak for х64 windows.
Thanks.
