At what point is it an option to use a signature that is more than just a block of text, like an img? Is it based on member "rank"? I dont see any other option in my USER-CP.

New members can use text or image sigs.
There is a tut here on how to load an image to your profile.
The USER_ CP is at the very top of asta;s main page. Next to the home button.
